Summer Reading Challenge: Time Trackers
The Time Trackers program is designed for children ages 0–12, as well as anyone who may need extra reading support. This summer, we’re focusing on building strong daily reading habits.
Participants will log each day they read for at least 20 minutes. 1 day = 1 point. For every 3 points earned, participants receive one spin on the prize wheel. Read for 51 days this summer and earn up to 17 spins!
Please note: Reading must be logged daily. The system allows only one day to be recorded at a time, so days cannot be added in bulk later. This helps us accurately track consistency and recognize our top readers based on how many days they read throughout the summer.
We will also have optional activity sheets available throughout the summer, giving participants even more opportunities to earn prizes.
At the end of the challenge, all participants can pick up a goodie bag and certificate to celebrate their success. When logging reading, only one entry per day is allowed. You only need to enter one book title per day, even if multiple books were read.
This day-based system encourages readers of all ages to build consistent habits while keeping reading fun and rewarding. Reading during the summer helps prevent learning loss, fosters a love of books, and allows participants to explore their interests.
If you are 12 and volunteering or participating in teen programs, we recommend registering as a teen reader.
